This bracelet is made with a combination of Swarovski Crystals and Czech Firepolish glass beads. Firepolish beads emulate crystal but are not..... these beads are created by pressing glass into a mold, roughly faceting them by machine, then slightly melting them to "fire polish" the bead which gives them sparkle and luster. Unlike genuine crystals, this process slightly rounds off the facets. Made for hundreds of years, these beads are perfect for antique and vintage style jewelry and are frequently used to repair antique jewelry.
The small beads and hearts are new, high quality, Swarovski Austrian Crystal, world famous for more than a century for their magnificent colors and unmatched quality.
